Made for the job

MS/SS Furniture

Industrial furniture must do more than fill a room. It needs to carry loads, tolerate repeated use, fit available space and remain easy to clean or repair. Bharatiya Saman fabricates MS and SS furniture for production floors, workshops, laboratories, stores, offices and service areas. Each item can be planned around the working height, equipment footprint, storage pattern and movement around it, instead of forcing the site to adapt to a generic size.

Applications and scope

Common requirements include work tables, inspection benches, tool racks, storage racks, cabinets, trolleys, platforms, shelves, counters and machine-side stands. Stainless steel is often preferred for clean environments, wet areas and applications where corrosion resistance matters. Mild steel can provide economical strength for workshops, stores and general industrial use, with an appropriate paint or protective finish.

Materials and construction

The right design considers sheet and tube thickness, shelf span, castors, feet, bracing, edge treatment, fasteners and surface finish. Stainless surfaces may be selected for cleaning and appearance, while MS structures can be coated for the environment and expected handling. If furniture supports machinery, the vibration, point loads and maintenance clearances should be known before fabrication.

How we work

We start with the item list and the way people, material and equipment move around it. A quick sketch or photograph with measurements is enough for an initial conversation. The team can then confirm height, width, storage levels, access, finish and quantity before fabrication. Items are checked for fit and practical handling, and delivery or site placement can be coordinated when needed.

Planning your requirement

Tell us what will sit on the furniture, how often it will move, whether it will be washed, and whether the item needs adjustable shelves, wheels, doors or lockable storage. Also note doorway sizes, floor conditions and the preferred finish. These details help produce furniture that supports the work instead of creating a new obstruction.

Delivery and ongoing support

Every MS/SS Furniture project is planned with the next stage in mind: delivery, installation, commissioning and maintenance. We can discuss the practical details that are easy to miss in a short product description, including lifting and access, connection points, inspection areas, replacement parts and the people who will operate the equipment. If the requirement changes after the first conversation, a clear revision is usually easier and safer than forcing an early assumption through the entire build. Share the latest drawing, measurement, photograph or site note when something changes. That keeps the workshop, contractor and end user working from the same information and helps the finished equipment earn its place in the operation.
